Isolation is the root of all evil. Study after study correlate isolation with violence, depression and self-destructiveness. MRI images show that, in the face of isolation, the prefrontal cortex fizzles like a burned-out light bulb. Our goal is to relight this essential area of the brain by reinforcing thoughts that destroy the illusion of isolation.

The exercises below use logic to reinforce a knowledge that you are the same as other people. In this case the basis for the logic will be The fact that other people also experience emotions like anger, love and fear.

(1) Reinforce a memory of people's human characteristics
First is a set of MEM formatted Hammers. The purpose is to reinforce a bit of knowledge about the people you know. You will reinforce them into one side of your brain, then, re-do the steps the with the sides switched. Thereby setting the thoughts in stone in both hemispheres.

In the CASE hand you will briefly consider people that you know or know of. Do not go into detail; merely 'bring up the subject' to yourself.

In the MEM hand you will recall the simple yet undeniable truth: That all people feel love, anger and fear at times.
Hammer; Memory Right Cog
CASE: Think about the people you know

MEM: Recall that these people all have emotions like anger, love and fear

Hammer; Memory Right Cog

(2) Reinforce the viewpoint that having the same characteristics makes you exactly the same
In the CASE hand you will briefly consider people that you know or know of. Do not go into detail; merely 'bring up the subject' to yourself.

In the VIEW hand you will see things from the perspective that, since you and other people share these characteristics, you are exactly the same.
CASE: Think about the people you know

VIEW:
View things from the perspective that you are exactly the same because you have the same emotions

Hammer; Memory Right Cog

(3) Reinforce logic stating that having the same characteristics makes you exactly the same
In the CASE hand you will briefly consider people that you know or know of. Do not go into detail; merely 'bring up the subject' to yourself.

In the LOG hand you will mentally create a logic string that since you both share these emotional characteristics you are exactly the same.
Hammer; Memory Right Cog
CASE: Think about the people you know

LOG: Realize that you have the same emotions and therefor are exactly the same
