Self Esteem Improvement with the Hammer
Our opinions of ourselves are partially garnished from the opinions of others. Over time we begin to believe what we hear. If we grow up with people telling us how worthless we are it no doubt will have produced a negative effect.

So a lot of what goes into increasing your self esteem will be to reinforce the positive opinions of others. Some may be real memories, some may be simply invented. Either way: The result is the same. You feel better about yourself and literally become more valuable to others.

Your relationships will blossom as you feel more goodwill. People will sense your positive attitude and reciprocate in kind.

In one particular Hammer Exercise the process is to reinforce an imaginary situation. In this situation you are chosen above all others by the people around you. This thought feels good and the exercise is one of the most powerful you can do.

Self-esteem is also addressed by reinforcing positive thoughts about yourself: I am smart, good looking, powerful, etc. As a strategy, you should look for any negative thoughts about yourself and replace them with the opposite, positive thought.

Also important is to just plain build a more successful existence. In this way self esteem can grow and intensify through time. This is a very natural process that we have seen over and over with HAMR. Installing positive thoughts often leads to a long period of personal growth that spreads into diverse areas.
