Self-confidence Building with HAMR
Confidence can be defined as a reasonable expectation of success, as it relates to your own skill.

In general, self-confidence is best improved by installing positive thoughts about your abilities (what you can achieve or learn to achieve): I can succeed at whatever I want, I can learn any skill, etc. As a strategy, you should look for any negative thoughts about what you can do and replace them with the opposite, positive thought.

Self confidence also comes from building on past successes. In this way it can grow and intensify through time. This is a natural process that we have seen over and over with the hamrs. Installing positive thoughts often leads to a long period of personal growth that spreads into diverse areas.

The strategy is to reinforce positive thoughts. No matter how bad things are, you must admit that you have succeeded at times. These are the thoughts that should be reinforced; find all you can and get your brain used to looking in a positive direction.
